Wood Glow Alchemy

The wood is dark at night,
yet turning green,
as the trees dance to be
asked,
questions that beckon,
but only in safety.
The clearing is there,
shaded by darkness, so
that the light can be seen.
It seethes like
a troubled serpent,
at times, only to change
again in the alchemical
glow of the grove.

fabulous Monika. A reminder that the blackness is never ever all black.

Wow! amazing pictures, Monika, which show that life goes on even when darkness falls. A stroll at night can be magical.

It's sad that it's not safe to venture far from the home or the bright lights because it is not safe to do so. Sigh.

Faucon you made me laugh! Heather, I agree totally, utterley, and absolutely. Vi, they organise tours in large groups, of night walkers for safety reasons, so people can experience the joys of the night and stars, animal life, etc. I think they do these in summer, but in winter they do mountain walks, with torches and stuff, to see the possums that come out then. Lots of things happen at night, and once you know them, they lose their fearsomeness-ness:-} I guess this is what I am trying to convey to myself and why these pics might have happened:-)
