Doomed are the chronically self-seeking
for they shall never be satisfied.

Blessed are the contented
for their hearts shall beat longer.

Doomed are the jealous
for they shall inherit enemies.

Blessed are the generous
for they shall befriend benevolence.

Doomed are the haughty
for they shall be mislead.

Blessed are kneeling knees
for they cannot fall.

Doomed are the slothful
for their bones shall grow weak.

Blessed are those who serve
for they shall recognize hard labour.

Doomed are those who seek revenge
for they do not own vengeance.

Blessed are the tolerant
for they shall not be judged easily.

Doomed are the unrighteous warriors
for they shall be feared.

Blessed are the peacemakers
for peace surpasses everything.
