Hi Bobbi,

Lovely picture. My friend and I spotted a blue heron once after we'd been looking at the same spot for over ten minutes. They can be very still. We never figured out if it was because the bird moved or that our eyes and brains finally connected.

Too bad the beavers are threatening to flood you out. They must be fascinating to watch.

At the end of my backyard is the stream/swamp. I took the picture with my video camera on zoom from my bedroom. I'm still prowling around trying to get a photo of the beaver!!!
