Nether Shades

Nether shades
from distant,
closeby.
Seen, then not,
yet finally understood.
They bear a weight
more comfortable.

Shadows and shades are the twilight zones of life. We look into them searching for what may or may not be there. We usually find something that was there all the time but was blotted out by the bright light. We often find bits and pieces of our soul there, waiting to be connected with the soul that we know. It is there in the shadows and shades where we find wisdom and we will eventually know our soul completely.

Great image, Monika, sure gets one to thinking.

Looking again at your image, I see there is someone, two people, sitting there in the shadows. We don't know who they are because all I can see of them are their legs ... two pair of legs. Maybe they are guardian angels. Maybe they are teachers, waiting for us to open our minds to their wisdom. Mmmm.

I am just happy to look and read the comments. Can't find the words right now but know I don't need to when others say it so well.

Vi, I see the legs too. These comments are rich in wisdom, and I agree with Heather.

I think Vi is absolutely right. Maybe we need to think in new ways...as the old ways didn't really do the trick for the world. They say change is as good as a holiday...probably right:-)

Faucon, I agree, shadows are worthy of study in the right way.
