Indian Snake Charmer

A Beautiful Image painted on a leaf of an Indian Snake Charmer. Usually the Snake is a Cobra which responds to the Particular Tone of the Instrument....certain Mystical Hindu Sects see them as sacred, things to be Worshipped/Respected as Gods. Even some of the most Benevolent Gods are Guarded by the Cobra, as it is considered Protective in Spirit....

It is somewhat difficult to learn to love snakes, but they are mystical creatures. Like spiders, they are revered by many cultures, yet hated by "civilized" types. Learning to live in harmony and learn from all of nature's creatures is vital for our world. I look forward to sharing my meal with a snake.

I think the fear has to do with our memories of childhood. As children it was wise for us to keep our distance -- or our worried parents may never have slept amongst the many supposed catastrophes. It took me awhile to understand, also, that humans have different natures as do animals. I think the fact that animals aren't "allowed" to be where they are meant to be, that is genetically, they can become rogue. But it is safe to make friends with our thoughts about them, whilst at a distance where we might contemplate to get an adult meaning. Thanks Karen, you helped me to clarify my own views also. (I usually send my spiders back outside where they can get back to a tree.)

The Travelling Minstrals who performed in our banquet hall, who are now staying in the House of the Serpent will be very taken with this image when I send it by Raven to them.
