Welcome Megan

Welcome Megan. I thought I heard your voice down the hall earlier. When I checked the roster, sure enough, your name was on it. I was so excited to know that you are here. I know you have come for quiet, so I will not come running right down to your cell and knock on your door, but I wanted to send you a few words.
To Megan:

May the quiet of this house of stillness
This softened place of gentle calm . .
Wash over you in soothing grace
Silence like a healing balm

Though you may often walk in private
In these halls of ancient stone
Kind thoughts and blessings walk with you
You’ll not be lonely when alone

So be welcome here among us
Whatever else you do
We thank-you for the gift you’ve brought:
The uncomparable gift of you.

When you are ready, you will find me in the Alchemist’s tower. Here is an old friend who also wishes to say, “Welcome.”
Love!
Winnie

I thought I could just sneak in to
my room, without disturbing anyone, but Winnie has other ideas.

I am looking forward to the solitude to restore my soul and creativity. Excuse me if I just take some time to compose myself before coming out to socialise.

Thank you for the warm welcome
Megan

Not too many have come to the Abbey without being noticed Megan.

Everyone is industriously working yet still, when the doorbell rings and I admit another resident word travels fast and people appear as if from nowhere.

Keep an eye out for the cat, the parrot, the noisy owls, the spirits that don't seem to bother even trying to hide themselves and, when you have unpacked, slip down to the kitchen for cake and coffee. Between Bonni and Sharon you can be sure to find something to eat at any time of the day.

Above all, let everyone pamper you a little. You deserve it.

love

Welcome Megan. I missed you sneaking in!

I Bobbi, Abbey Gardener and am new here. I am still busy settling my room as I spent my first few days here out playing in the gardens and hanging about in the kitchen (such good smells in both places!)

I see the others haven't realized yet that I have canaries in my room! I hope they do not disturb you.

I am glad you are here and hope to get to know you better.

Bobbi
